DROP ALIVE
Welcome!
My name is Simon, I' m an independent Italian songwriter.
"Drop Alive", my first musical experiment, is a self-produced album that came out in 2007.
On it I sang/played everything but the drums, which were recorded by my good friend and workmate Antonio "Ardog" Ricchiuti.
Much to our surprise, Drop Alive's music has reached people from all over the world, thanks to podcasters, the music press, and many websites such as Jamendo.But most of all thanks to music lovers like you!
Right now I' m recording a new project which will be unveiled later this year, still producing everything myself.
It will be once again available to you as a free download!

Hi to all of our fantastic visitors and lectors, i have to tell you some news…
First of all, thank you very much for your support and patience,we have been having difficulties with our host files / albums, the most of the material is safe, but not for much time; we are using the Wuala server, but the archives will be deleted at the end of this month :(. (for money reasons)
So we are taking some ideas like migrate all the material to another server, do you know another really good? Like the actual Wuala…
The main problem is that the blog contains almost 700 archives!, for this reason is some difficult to continue the post of new albums or material in general.
We are trying to join to this recuperation work some collaborators or ideas… we dont want to lose all this hard work of two years.
If you have solutions or want to collaborate please leave a comment in this entry.
The main idea is recover all the existent material to this date, to continue with new material and music!

El Funk y el groove siempre estuvieron en sus vidas, lo que les llevó a juntarse
con grandes musicos del la E M C (Escuela de Musica Creativa) en la
que se conocieron mientras estudiaban la gran mayoria de la banda.

Después de tocar en directo durante 2 años, Pelota Funky es el primer trabajo discográfico de la banda madrileña Hace Soul.
Está compuesto por los siguientes temas:
1. La intro explosiva Policía, tiene un arma! Un tributo a la blaxploitaition y a sus bandas sonoras de persecuciones frenéticas.
2. Born To Gruf : Esta declaración de intenciones se ha convertido en el single de la maqueta.
Como reza su estrofa : "Me miro en el espejo y comienzo a moverme
porque, nena, ahora sé que nací para el gruf! ".
3. Just the two of us: Esta preciosa balada compuesta por Bill Withers e interpretada por él mismo junto al gran Groover Washington Jr. sirve a la banda para sacar sus emociones de amor, suavidad y detallismo. CANCIÓN NO DISPONIBLE EN LA VERSIÓN ONLINE.
4. Bedtime: La historia de un anciano que se mantiene en forma gracias al sexo en la cama es puro groove. Ojo al tributo final a los Headhunters, una referencia fundamental para la banda.
